DR. SLAVEYKO DJAMBAZOV, PHD
Dr. Djambazov has international expertise in health technology assessment (HTA), value-based healthcare (VBHC) and health policy advisory.

Holds a PhD in HTA, MBA from the American University in Bulgaria, masters in Medicine and in Public health, completed executive education at Harvard Business School. A consultant and educator in HTA VBHC, with a distinguished record of over 1,000 HTA analyses and more than 50 VBHC initiatives. A prolific scholar, co-authoring over 25 books and 150 peer-reviewed publications spanning HTA, VBHC, health economics, and clinical trials. Since 2017, has been actively engaged in shaping healthcare transformation across CEE, Africa, Central, and Southeast Asia, bringing evidence-based insights to diverse and complex health systems.
GEORGE SLAVCHEV, PHD
Georgi Slavchev holds a Bachelor degree in biotechnologies, a Master degree in molecular biology and a PhD in infectious microbiology.

He had been working at the Microbiology Institute of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences where he conferred the academic degree of chief professor assistant. Georgi Slavchev is working in the field of health technology assessment with further specializations in London, Glasgow and Baltimore.
He is an author and co-author of more than 30 scientific research publications. He is one of the authors of the books ”Clinical trials: Theory, Practice, Recommendations and Practical Epidemiology”.
ADRIANA DACHEVA, PHD
Adriana Dacheva holds a PhD in Social Medicine and Health Management.

In 2017, Adriana Dacheva completed her postgraduate qualification in Health Management. She has nine years of experience in Health Technology Assessment (HTA), with a strong focus on budget impact analysis, risk-sharing agreements, and innovative payment models.
She has further specialized in HTA through training programs in Glasgow, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Milan, and Vienna, as well as courses organized by ISPOR, particularly in the areas of budget impact assessment and risk-sharing agreements.
Since early 2020, Adriana has been actively involved in projects focused on value measurement in healthcare in Bulgaria, including the implementation of Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing (TDABC) methodologies.
She is also an co-author of books and scientific publications and serves as a lecturer on HTA and TDABC, sharing her expertise with professionals and academic audiences.
YOANNA VUTOVA
Yoanna Vutova holds a Master degree in pharmacy from the Medical University of Sofia.

She has been a member of the HTA Ltd. team since 2017, studying and working in the area of research analysis, health policies, development and coordination of the international activities of HТА Ltd., participating as a co-author of scientific research projects.
Since the beginning of 2020 she has been actively involved in “Value Measurement for Health Care” projects in Bulgaria.

Ivelina Yankova holds a Bachelor's degree of Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bristol, UK.

MARTA ENCHEVA
Marta Encheva, PhD, is a scientific analyst and QoL researcher in the field of health technology assessment (HTA).

She holds a PhD in Microbiology and a master’s degree in Molecular biology from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
Since 2018 has been working on pharmacoeconomic analyses and applying local health state utility values (HSUV) in them, specializes in cost-effectiveness modeling. In 2020 co-authored “EQ-5D-5L Bulgarian population norms” with the support of EuroQol Research Foundation members.

She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Cardiff University in 2017, followed by an MRes in Biomedical Sciences in 2018. In 2022, she completed a PhD at Imperial College London, focusing on myocardial regeneration through stem cell mobilization.
That same year, she joined HTA Ltd. Her work involves organizing and delivering training programs that support medical professionals in expanding their expertise. Currently, she holds the position of Team Lead at HTA Ltd.

In 2005 as part of the graduate program he completed his master’s degree thesis in Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Since then, he has gained a valuable perspective in a variety of pharmaceutical business, mainly as a manager. His experience also includes interaction with clients, e-commerce, and data analysis. In the field of HTA Hristo has interests and experience in analysis for reassessment of reimbursement status, budget impact and pharmacoeconomic models.
